I don't why anyone would want to use a Roto or pull start? You lose to much performance.

Seriously, no insult meant but if your only getting 6 minutes you really need to learn how to tune these engines ! whoever is giving you guys setup advice doesn't know their ass from a Picco !

I started with the Pro .28 but after a season it died on me. Due trying to chase a tune with multiple cracked tanks. I ended up getting a great deal on a Dynamite Platinum .21xp http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-Standard-Plug

This engine works great in my RC8 and would be a good choice if you're just going to do some bashing/club racing. Its SUPER easy to tune and puts out mad amounts of power and its only $175. As far as the roto start...throw that in the trash and get a starter box. One way bearings are only good for one thing..breaking.

The stock buggy tank (RC8, RC8B) is 125cc
The stock truggy tank (RC8T, RC8TCE) is 150cc

The truggy tank will fit in the buggy with no mods needed. The truggy tank is taller but not enough to hit the body.
