I'm still laughing because the old Serpent crew used to kind of snub the offroad crowd. Now they're making a buggy and prob. truggy.

The article on neobuggy originally had Billy Easton placing with a serpent truggy, but its been changed by the mods, it now says he was racing an RC8T.

i was at the crcrc race. billy easton was using a serpent buggy but not truggy. he was using a rc8t for his truggy. I told neobuggy to change it. look for a serpent truggy prototype this summer

Hmmm... good question. Maybe if you were there he would have been 7th instead?

Setup, parts, and tire testing. I've done that before in big races. It's risky, but the payoff is well worth it. If you find a better setup during the quals as the track conditions are changing, you've got a leg up on the competition.

Also, he got 15-20 min of extra track time, during race conditions, on the rig to report about.

Default re serpent buggy at crcrc

i was talking to easton at the crcrc race and checking out the serpent buggy and he was basically trying different setups all weekend to see which one worked the best for the track.

i can tell you its a really high quality buggy with all the hop ups you will need to race competitively included with the kit. i couldnt believe how big the radio tray was on the serpent. you can fit a nice lipo flat pack in there if you want to for your receiver.

easton was running an associated truggy too.
