yeah thats EXACTLY what I said....but "fast" is "fast" and should have done better if it is a "fast" car...

how can you argue the fact that he was trying diff. set-ups is why he didnt "win"....EVERYONE was trying diff. set-ups to find whats was the best LOL

Default Serpent will be competitive

I watched the Serpent all weekend at CRCRC. The buggy looked like it jumped and turned better than most others. The only thing I saw was the shock set up needed some work. The car just bounced over some of the ripple sections and got a little upset too easy. It was also a little edgy and would traction roll. Overall I was very impressed with the little time that Billy has on the car and set up. Billy would have qualified in the top five if he had just put in a clean run. It will be a tough buggy, I saw it take some good tumbles and hits and nothing broke on it. Just give them a little more time and results will only get better.

no truggy yet, just a typo. billy probably had serpent as chassis sponsor on the sponsor sheet for both but it was an rc8t, same one he ran at the nats. the truggy is probably a year out since the buggy still needs to be finalized and the truggy will be a whole different venture.

Easton hard all weekend on his car. trying new setups. It's actually only the 2nd time it's been raced at a track. It's like taking any new rc car to a racing track it going to take time to make it fast you have to start somewhere and decide if oil is too soft, springs are too hard etc... a lot of pro's are actually on there own at rc races. Like Serpent there are smaller manufactures. That have very small race teams which it is harder to find race setups because only a handful of people run the car. with losi and associated they can call the 4 or 5 "paid" pro's for advice at a race or they can turn to one of the ten guys and ask the to try this shock oil.. etc but when you are only one guy at a race with only a couple guys running the car there is only so much you can do.

no doubt the car will be fast once it has some more time under the belt...but honestly this is not the first time the car has been ran...it been in testing for a LONG time...anyways

He placed 5th with the serpent buggy at CRC. ITs one of those things that make you wonder what the car would be like in person
