The ones with four wheels are the bestest buggies ever! Oh, and make sure it has shocks: 4 shocks is what I call optimal, but you can get away with using just 2 if you're a good driver

Default Tough Question

In my opinion the top three cars are the Xray 808, the Mugen MBx6, and the Team Associated rc-8. All three cars are blazing fast, reliable, and will last too. The losi and HB cars are junk IMOpinion.

There is no such thing as best buggy, I started with a gs storm and once I learned that car inside out and was able to drive it and set it up I got my self an mbx5 and the only reason I bought a new buggy was because my GS storm was not holding up any more.

Jared Tebo was kicking butt with a thunder tiger a few years back. Go figure!!!

imo the d8t is the best car. it is sooo much cheaper than the others you could buy two for the price of 1 losi or mugen. They are great cars from what i hear and i researched up on them and im getting one here really soon.

just get one of the kits it doesnt mater which one and just drive it. just get the one that appeals the most to you and go with it and never look back. all kits are good now, you cant go wrong with any of them.

Everyone will have there own opinion, but bang for your buck i would say the hotbodies D8, they are quick out of the box requiring only a few small parts to make them bullet proof and there is lots of info on this forum about them, the only down side is that the plastic wears a bit quicker then some buggies so they require some parts to be replaced sooner. I run a MBX6 at the moment and am seriously looking at going back to my D8 as it felt like it suited me better, just my 2c.

Cheers

AE RC8B/RC8TC, Losi 8B 2.0/8T 2.0, Mugen MBX6/6T, HB D8/D8T, Kyosho MP9/STRR, XRAY 808'10/XT8'09 and Tamiya TRF801X/TRF801XT are all great kits. There are a few more as well. They all will get the job done. It's up to set-up and maintenance. Some plastic does wear out faster than others. At the price it might be that bad. The D8/D8T are the cheapest. Some will say you don't need to do anything and they could be right. For me it would have a different chassis and some light weight parts. So cost is about the same as others. Ask questions and learn. Buy one and enjoy it. It's a hobby not a job.

opinions are like A$$ Holes, every ones got one! It seems like the new crop of cars are all going with the zero kingpin design like the Losi and Xray. It's hard to say what cars are crap, because I'm sure every car is capable of winning in the right hands. The Losi didn't suit me at all, so I switched to an Xray, and it's like someone flipped a switch. It was a night and day difference for me, and here everyone says that it's a copy of the losi? That's easy to say until you give both cars a fair shake down. The Xray tops my list, even with eye candy cars like the durango coming out, I still will be Xray faithful. my list as follows.

1. Xray xb808
2. Mugen mbx6
3.Kyosho MP9
4.HB D8
5.Tamiya TRF801X
6.Losi 8ight 2.0
7.Jammin X2
8.Associated RC8
9.Odonnell z01b
10. Hyper 9
11. SH Z car
12. Caster
13.OCM
