I just picked up a ofna mutilator truggy to play around with. This is my first truggy and I noticed that it has quite a bit of slop in the wheel ends, This thing is pretty much new and the lhs said its pretty normal to have play like that. My slayer doesnt have that problem Im just wondering if its the nature of the beast? It has the aluminum knuckles and it is about the same at all four corners.

Shims are thin washers that you can put in between the bearing and the axel, or the hex hub on the outside, just don't make it too tight or it will bind too much. It works....

Are the shims model specific? Could someone post a link to the kit that would work? Thanks

theres got to be play for dirt or else it would bind up. also your dealing with bigger tires so it will feel like it ha more slop

Yeah, I'm probably worrying about nothing. He showed me another truggy that had a lot of play at the wheel end. I just thought that if the wheel could be rocked back and forth a 1/4", it was too much. All four wheels are the same so I'm not gonna worry about it.
