Nice a buddy of mine has a mint Turbo II car......car runs great.
It is a great looking car. I wonder where they got the styling...... (Porsche 944 anyone?)

The company I used to race for used to sponsor a Spec RX7 class back in the 1990s.

Yup, very similar. The 944 is a little more aggressive looking, the 2nd Gen RX-7 is a little sleeker. (I have a 944 in the garage at the moment... and a TII engine too, for that matter.)

Nice... fun class!

I really like the 1st gen... it's a little go-kart!

And I have a bud with a NON-mint TII. No heater core/ac, sound deadening removed, other stuff done to lighten it... about 500 HP at the wheels. FUN car!

I've always wanted to put a monster TII engine in a 1st gen. Maybe someday...

Since this thread has been completely taken over. I would like to rename it. "Rice Rockets or American Muscle" What do you all think?

I personally love the German cars over anything, however would love to own another "70 Chevelle or a 71 Camaro. My wife loves her Infinity. I drive a Ford truck!!! Works for me. Maybe I can put a WING on my Ford and fly over traffic like the rest of you.

Point being: START YOUR OWN THREAD!!!

I am going to put in my 2 cents to see if I can get this thread back on topic. Looking at the Cobra wing it reminds me of the VP Pro wings which I like alot.

Hi guys

Just some history about our wing .Our wing is the upgrade version of the first generation Himoto wing which myself and Now hot bodies factory driver Ian had designed for Himoto with no thank you or royalties lol.but i guess you live and learn .

The new wing from cobra is about 1.5 years old but with production problems in Asia with the wrong materials used ,a long legal battle plus the mold being stolen, damaged and held for ransom it's been a long haul .

Now with our new material nylon st801 from dupont we are sure our wing will be the wing of choice not only for racers but the basher as well. Not only does it look out of this world but it works and that's the most important .As for the wind tunnel testing it was tested on virtual wind tunnel dynamic flow program so thats how the wing was tested from our side while being designed.

we would also like to thank scott from the uk and his dad from the sauber f1 team for running multiple tests without us even asking .

wing will be available worldwide within a 3 week period .

take care guys and happy racing.

I'll try one. Specisl thanks to Cary from DRC for the use of his AE wing today. Cary, the jury is still out on the wing, but I'll try my stock one on wednesday and compare it. I was just too busy to notice today.

Default CFD Wing Simulation

I did a few CFD simulations of a Kyosho Mini-z rear wing.
