Default Max Life clutch Shoes

What kind of life are you guys getting with max life clutch shoes in your losi 8t 2.0s Ive ran about a gallon and a half of fuel. Changed clutch bearings but the shoes still looked pretty good. Maybe half or a little less worn. Thanks

i have over 10 gallons on the ones that are currently getting used on my buggy. i switch the engine back and forth between buggy and trugy all the time. i have only gone threw 2 sets in the past year. they are best i have ever used. tried others and only got about 2 gallons on them and they do not grab like these. and not to mention they are cheaper than most shoes.

I have used, and still do use, the max lifes when I want to run aluminum. They have a great feel, and last much longer than others that I have used. Seeing a few gallons does not surprise me at all.

I dont run the max lifes I just run the carbon shoes, whats the point for me I tear mine down after every race and replace them anyways. That would get kinda expensive with max lifes lol

that gets expensive no mater how cheap the carbon shoes coast. why not just get a set of max lifes and not replace them for 10+ gallons and just replace springs every gallon or so?

+1

not to mention that carbon shoes slip and makes your engine work harder.

some people like the slip, it helps them drive smoother, and guys that come from electric to Nitro are usually better with Carbon shoes

everytime i break my buggy down i keep looking at the shoes wanting to replace them. It's been 4 gallons now and they look barely worn. Wtf are they made out of? Tintanium Seriously, i reminds me of the coating that is put on the speed cranks. Just does not wear.

When i place orders on parts for my car i keep not buying clutch shoes. Man this sucks

i ran a 30 min main with a broken clutch spring so the clutch was engaging at all time and they still barely showed any where i used that set for right around 12 gallons before i replaced them. i could not believe that. i always forget to look at the clutch springs and i run them worn slap out and they still dont mess up these shoes. i will not run another kind of clutch shoes.
