i like to leave the switch on. one time before my starter box got squished in my tub, and it must have been on for awhile cause it fried all the wires. i forgot to switch it off

Where do you guys normally put the voltage indicator for the lipo.
Do you run with it always connected or just plug it in to check the voltage from time to time?

If you always have it connected do you make a small hole and run the balancing tab out and run it outside your box?

i just secured the battery in the box with a piece of velcro. just pop open the box rip it out, charge it and throw it back in

I like the idea of just putting the lipo in and not worring about it.

But I also like the idea of the voltage indicator for the lipo, just to make sure you arn't dischagring it too far.

Dose anyone run the voltage indicator on their starter boxes or is it not really worth it.

I hear of guys running them on here but never seen one. I just make sure that i charge my 2200mah batts(in my ofna truggy boxes) after every hour and half of race time or better yet when the power decreases in the power of my start boxes whichever comes first

I run my Voltage monitor inside the box and in a place where i can see it through one of the cutout's..imo they are smart insurance for those moments your not paying attention and the pack decided to dump or for the n00bie pit men who dont know how to line up the car properly....certain monitor's will shut the system down if that's the case which is a nice feature.

Default My two cents

Been out of the hobby for a year or more, so I'm rebuilding what I have with the hopes of racing some this season. Less than comparable batteries were out of stock or $60.00 and up, so I decided to go with this one (as pictured). The damage was $93.90 shipped. Hope this helps.

This is genius. One of the only two things I dislike about the hobby, soldering, is finally addressed. Now if I can find someone to cut bodies, everything will be perfect.
