Oil hole faces the crank. Always.

isn't the oil hole in the bushing?i am talking about the oil slot in the conrod,which way it goes towards the front or back?

Look closely. The hole is in the bottom of that slot, down through the bushing. So the side with the hole faces the crank.

Some rods have a slot on both sides but the hole is only on one side.

Another way to tell is to look closely at the lower bushing. One side of the bushing has a nice rounded chamfer, the other does not. Rounded side ALWAYS goes against the crank with the un-rounded side against the rear cover.
