are you refering to the old plus 21-7 or the new 21-7FMS?

based on what i learned in the past....
the old ones are hit or miss,
i beleive many owners had problems with the piston and sleeve and eventually it got back to novarossi and intructed owners not to use the engine due to faulty piston and or sleeve material or something of that nature.
someone please correct me if im wrong.

I hada Houston Tuned 21-7bt......fastest most powerful engine I have ever seen, I paired it with a 2013 pipeset and it was just ballistic, WAY too much for me for sure, it was a TON of engine, but very easy to tune, very consistent.......just too much for me personally, I like the plus4 best out of all the Novarossi engines I ran last year, and I ran A LOT of them

this is a quote i found from (maximo)clockwork racing back when these came out people were having trouble keeping these in tune and from flaming out....

"we have tried alot of different combo's...the motor just has very poor top end...Novarossi now apparently has issued a letter telling 21-7 customers not to run the 21-7's, as apparently they are replacing the piston sleeve with a new design.....Also this motor loves to flame out".

so who knows
all i can say is i love all my novas

thats interesting !!! is that an actual statement from novarossi or just some hearsay from somebody else ?

i have never had any issues with that engine , if i did i would say something about it trust me

the plug was probably the cause for the flame outs as well as the tune and replacing the piston/sleeve with a new one? i have seen about 25 of these engines and they were all the same

as I stated previously, the engine was very consistent in the 260 range......no flames, no chasing tunes......typical Novarossi quality
