Default Tire choices??? Need your help guys.

Hey guys would like your opinions on your favorite tire choices. I would like your preferences in both truggy and buggy. There are several manufaturers out there now and I am a hobby dealer and it would cost me a small fortune to stock every single kind. Let me know if you prefer premounted or if you perfer to glue them yourself. Also the compund (M2, M3, soft, super soft med) you prefer. Thanks and I really appeciate your help.

I particularly like to run JConcepts tires. I like to run the blue(soft) compound. The tires i like are the Crossbows, Crowbars, Double Dee's, Sevens, Barcodes, Subcultures.

I really like AKA tires. I ran mostly crimefighters for awhile, but recently switched. Still like the revolvers too

Tires choice must be specific to your track and track conditions. All the tires mentioned are good tires on the right track. For truggy I ran AKA's I beams and JC crosshairs last year and they were execellent in my area. Which is mainly hard clay tracks. Small pin tires usually wear waaaaayy to fast on the tracks I run on. Sometimes you can't even complete a main on them. At $80 a set I stick with longer wear good traction tires.

You should ask this question to guys in your local area. You will get a much better answer.

I only race Truggy... my favorite "all purpose" (What I run if I don't know what's going to work) tires are AKA City Blocks in soft. If I could only have ONE type of tire that would be it.

I raced at 9 different track last year, and at most of them Soft cityblocks were the best tire. Now for this race season, i have plenty of Cityblocks, but i will also run Gridirons.

I think you really should go with what the racers in your area suggest.

I agree that asking the local folks would be a much better answer. as a dealer i would carry a couple different options such as select varieties of aka and Pro line tires

I know that our local dealers here i order my tires prior to races usually takes a week as for

as for glued or unglued safer bet is unglued as some people can be pretty picky about their tires and wantin to mount them them
selves
