I hate a Losi clutch.
Can someone help me with any tips and tricks they know to help get the 4 screws out of the 8 2.0 flywheel that hold the clutches on. The heads are stripped out there has to be someway of getting them out.

or go to www.answer-rcusa.com they have the losi eight clutch, shoe pins that have a slot on them so its not so, easy to strip them out.
i had to use my dremel a couple of times to, get the clutch shoe pin out and im about to try them answer clutch shoe pins out . also you can be, easy on the clutch shoe screw and they still strip lol.

Don't threadlock them in the first place. They'll never come out easy. As for getting them out, you'll probably have to cut them with a dremel and use vice grips to twist them out from the shaft of the pin. I've done that in the past. With the pins, I usually strip the head, then strip the slot that I cut in the head with the dremel, then I have to destroy the pin to save the flywheel.

i dont use threadlock on them i know better lol.

Take a dremel and grind a slight point into the front of the pin. This will help a lot with installation, and seems to help with removing the pins as well.
And like losi_racer said, use high quality tools. A good hex driver will help prevent rounding out the screw while installing the pin.

i personally haven't gotten that far with the clutch sets but the aluminum is not 7075 or 6061 but a rather special alloy
i dont do this usually but i must say i will endorse this product and i haven't even used it in my car !!!! that is not like me to do that
i have great confidence in doing this and believe you guys will have great results when using this clutch system

I like the losi clutch system 4 shoes so its balanced and tons of options plus you dont need a special tool to take the shoes out. I loctite mine and they only strip once in awhile only when the hex driver is worn. Get a new hex driver.I have been using hudy, they work well, the proline sucked, RD logics was not bad either or I just purchased a few shepard racing toold and they seem to be top notch so far.

yea i make sure the hex driver is all the way in the clutch pin also, but i havnt
made a point on the screw ethier, plus i use duratrax hex drivers lol. im gone to get better ones.
