Default *YET AGAIN* another starter box thread.

Anyways, i run dual packs in my starterbox, i was wondering, can i run 2x2s lipos....

that way i can take them out and run them in my sc10 when i want too?

or will i be better off with a 4s?

You are better off with a 4s because those 2x2s packs won't perform as well after duty in the starter box. I'm relaying what was told to me so I don't have first hand knowledge but it makes sense.

i ran 2x2's in my starter box all summer longer. ran the packs last year for 3 months in a sedan. used the same packs at this years novak race. the old packs and new pack had 1-2 tenths difference in lap times. old packs charged 100+ times new packs charged 15 each times. lipo's just seem to work. was used in 13.5 and 17.5 sedans. both cars made the "a" main at novak... jeremy

I run 2 2s packs in my starter box and have had no problems. I actually run 2 2000 2s packs and I have never had a problem starting any engine even breaking in engines.

As long as you dont over work the lipos and keep them balenced I dont see what it would mater what they were run in..I switch oneof my lipos from my slash to an onroad car quite often with no issues...
