IMO, Quality Buggy/Truggies aren't a basher vehicle. You spend too much time, money, and effort to tear up your buggy for the 5 minutes you drive it. Too much preparation goes into running a race vehicle, and bashing it is not worth it.

Have to agree with these x10 i only ever run a vehicle away from the track if i am breaking in my motor of if i had done a major repair and making sure everything was in tip top shape for racin

i used to bash, i did it for about a year and now i am just starting to race. Racing has a point where as bashing doesnt really if you no what i mean. when i was bashing all i was ever doing was replacing parts and breaking things. With racing you can have some fun but at the same time be proud of the race vehicle you have created and for most talk to poeple that have the same interest as you. just my 2 cents

I started off bashing and then quickly got into racing. I think people "bash" because there may not be a track nearby for them to race at regularly, so bashing is the next best thing.

I barely run my cars away from the track anymore. If I do, it is usually because I am just testing something out.

My cars are way too expensive for trying to jump them over houses and the like. I am probably going to turn my current 8t 2.0 into my neighborhood basher at the end of the season when I get a new truggy. Gonna make it a 60+ mph screamer.

Default Racing, no question.

I don't get "bashing" at all. Seems pointless to me. Even if you don't sign up for formal races or club races, I think driving on a track and working to get your lap times as low as you can is the best part of driving an RC car.

Bashing "CAN" be fun. But, it don't hold a candle to racing..

That's a 10-4 rubber duck.

bashing sucks. I don't even go to the track anymore unless there is a race or there is enough people to marshall

I prefer racing to bashing. There is a lot more comradarie in racing than there is in bashing, and plus if I break something in a race, at least it got broken while I was in pursuit of first, and not trying to jump 36 midgets layed head to toe....if I break bashing, i just get uber ticked off, but in a race, yes I'm still angry, but it had a purpose. Just my .02
