I agree it is hard to decide right now.. It is because there are some many $200 motors out there.. If it were me and it was 2 weeks ago it would be down to 1 of 3 engines..

1. Werks B5 with 2013 pipe.
2. OFNA JL with 086 pipe. JL is sadi to be the same as the RB K.9
3. Alpha Plus with the 0801 Alpha pipe.

I spent a little more and got a trinity Extech full mod, but I wil be picking up one of the above 3 this summer.. I just don't know which one.. I am leaning more toward the Alpha, but still not sure.. Check out each thread for the engine and decide what you want.. Of the 3 the Alpha line is hands down the best looking engine, IMO... But looks only go so far, if it can't perform it ain't worth having..

Just send me whatever you are wanting to spend in paypal, and I will buy it for you, and have it shipped to you. Then you can stop worrying about it

I Go Gx 5 port sells for under $240.00 in a combo with a 2072 pipe, 4 carb reducers, and a spare rod. 7 ports ar $10 more.
I am partial since I run them and sell them but that is an awesome deal. They now have coated cranks for longer life.

The Eb motor and the Alpha motors look awesome too.

what pipes do you already have??

if you have a JP-1 already......then I would suggest the O'Donnell SS .21. I have two running now and they run everytime i start them with now issues and they use the cheaper (cost wise) odonnell plugs without any issues. and i can tell you how to set it up to get 10 minutes a tank easy in a buggy no problem with the JP-1 pipe.

Hey there,

you might hate me for what am gonna say but for the last 3 weeks or so, more than 4 new threads were started on the same subject. adriver needs an engine but not sure what to get, you will get tons of responses and all are different. at the end, you will be confused and still not sure what to get.
i mean no disrespect, i'm just sayin read about the engines here on Rctech. you will find alot of great info.

cheers
