3.7 tire on 4.0 rim ?

3.7 tire on 4.0 rim ?

i have a set of proline holeshots and i was going to buy a set of 4.0 rims and cut the tires off the 3.7 rims anybody ever try this will those tires fit on that rim or do i need to buy a 3.7 wheel

save yourself the hassle and get a regular LPR sized rim...the 4.0's are the VTR's which use a Buggy style bead and trying to mod a Pre VTR holeshot would prove difficult and probably not come out very good.
