I would have these key elements:

-Background Info
-Race Results
-Plans for upcoming season
-Short paragraph letting the company now how you can help them grow/gain more potential customers.
-Pictures don't hurt either.

Good Luck!

Haha, yeah it's fun to use, but it can come off a little rude too. I don't do it much but there are somethings you can get good answers to by using Google.

The main question is what do you have to offer?

Most sponsors do not want to see drivers begging for sponsorships if you have nothing to offer. So you must be a good driver with potential and most of the times you will be noticed on the bigger events.

Another thing what can help is if you are a good supporting guy. Shops/factories can sponsor such people to promote their business/products by giving a good support at the races.

Email the company, and ask them to email you their application.

We do not review resumes at all; we have specific information that we require before considering an applicant for any level of sponsorship.

Totally agree there !

Podiums are a bonus, but not esentiall, good representation and support of the products can go a long way for a company,
more so than a guy that could still win driving a brick on wheels.

Keep in mind too that there are different levels of sponsorship.
