Default Are your hands cold on the driver's stand?

We are making version 2 this week, as this one has a few things I want tweaked. Comments welcome.

I like. Kind of like a snuggie for your hands. I have been experimenting with heated gloves, but I like this approach better. For some reason, gloves mess up how I "feel" the controller but this wouldn't intefere at all.

Where can I get one?

I use one already, better if it's waterproof over here though as we are often stood in rain!

They take a bit of getting used to, but invaluable when it gets cold.

I intend on building a Polartec version as well. Properties are: water resistant, breathable so you don't sweat, odor resistant (great for being around nitro) and wind resistant.

I don't know where, that is why I built one. I searched google and found a version for airplane guys and some guy posted a time ago about one for drivers, but I never saw anything more.

If there was enough interest I could potential release it on the market. I just don't know how many would want one. The price range if we sold them and for "us" (me and wife) making them would sell for about $35. Not sure if that is worth it for you guys or not. I guess it is better than gloves.

I sure hope you get a patent on that. I've seen companies time and time again take ideas and mass produce them. Great idea for the RC cars. I've never seen anyway. I would sell the idea to protek or something.

I have used one of these for a while now, but my hands still got cold due to wind getting in, and I have bad circulation anyway. So this winter, I decided to do something about it, since its soooo cold and I'm racing more.
I have now sewn a pocket in transmitter muff, just by my hand, so that I can slip in one of those heater pads.

Now it is much better, and I can easily last a 20minute final without loosing feeling to my fingertips. Well reccomended to people living in cold climates.

This is a pretty cool idea. I've tried driving with gloves and don't like it.

BTW, we are working on getting the patent in the US. Takes a while.

Excellent idea...I'd take one in a heartbeat! My hands get cold but I don't like the loss of feeling when I put on gloves. I think you'd be surprised how well received this product would be.
