go with a hitec 7955 and you will never need another one ever again. i have been running mine for over a year now on both buggy and truggy. also make sure end points are set right and that your servo saver isnt to tight, it needs to be tight but it should give some on hard hits.

i agree with Jmax hitec are great servos, what servo's were you using ?

you need to set your servo saver according to what servo you use, if you use a servo rated at 13 kg / .........oz you need to set your servo saver so that it will open at roughly 13kg of force.

hope this helps mate

turn your wheel (on your radio) slowly to the right/left and when you get to the point that the steering on the car can no longer turn any further you will hear the servo start to bind up, decrease the travel of the servo (on the radio) so that it is slightly less than that.

+1 i would like to add some. i turn it all the way to one side and back off the EPA on the radio just to the point where it like less than a millimeter from full steering.

if you have the end points set right you will have alot better luck with servos. i ran an scion (not sure one spelling on that) servo that came on RTR cen matrix buggy for 5 months before the motor only started turning one way. but my dad had one also and it last less than a tank because he forgot to set his end points.

i never ran cen lol but my dad had a RTR truggy and he had two pro buggies now he is trying to get rid of the one he only used for like 2 gallons maybe its like new lol. but he switch to jammin bc i was running jammin but now we are starting to like the odonnell buggy he bought we will probably sell jammins and go with them now. its kinda sad because we have more cen parts than anything and he only ran them for a very short while.

for my own buggy, i would not go below .13 sec to 60 degree's @6v and 12 kg, i am not sure what 12 kgs is in oz, look for ace 1313 or something similar

To add to the previous points. Set your EPA with the car elevated off the ground first. Then for your final adjustment set the chassis on the ground and check again. You may find that you can increase the EPA a few clicks with the wheels on the ground.

On servo recommendations. I would get Hitec, they have great customer service. I'm currently running Futaba BLS351 on both throttle and steering on a unregulated LIPO with no problems so far after 1 year of running. That would be another option.

I'm not trying to thread jack here but I am going to be replacing my servos on my 8IGHT 2.0 and was curious as to why the 7950TG wasn't recommended? I have heard that a few people said that they had reliability problems but I can't seem to find any of these negative reviews (online at least).
