You've killed ya servos by not setting the end points. No use blaming ya servos.

I use cheap Savox servos. 6 months old and still had no problem even though I'm running in the rain and snow.

Most use the ACE DS1015 over here, but I refuse to spend that much.

I have a Savox SC0251 MG in the steering and an SC0252 in the throttle.

Only issue is the SC0251 is slightly larger than normal so you have to pack it slightly to make it work in my Mugen.

Steering 12kg and throttle 9kg should be strong enough.

Also, check your servo saver is not too tight as this will make the knocks transfer straight to the gears on the servo.

what is a good servo at a good price? like no more than $100

and also what sort of settings should i be looking for, eg torque?

cheers
Since people refuse to buy a quality servo one time, then they must buy a cheap servo again and again and again and again and ... so on...

you can only try and help a guy soo many time's before your forced to give up and let him experience it for himself.

Guys will learn one way or another.....then its up to them whether or not they Own up to it next time there's a thread about what servo's to run....I know many of convert's that were ALL about 1 brand but when they started to let them down they realized there ARE better.
