That Losi 10-T looks like a lot of fun. I don't think you need to worry about the engine at all...

Furthermore, the engine in the 10-T is started from the radio. And the radio is a DX3S. Seems like a perfect starter truck. I wish they had these when I first got into RC.

i didn't think it was anything i wanted to worry about.

i already knew about the radio, and that is a big plus to me.

but i wanted to know stuff about the engine like: does it have a good top end, or bottom end? does it have enough torque to do wheelies? is it difficult to tune?

what if i got a set of off road tires with the jato? or is the jato just less durable overall?

i am also thinking about the revo, what do you guys think about this truck?

the losi is still the top candidate

Jato = Endless spin out's and excessive speed that can get you in trouble REAL fast......you'll also need 300'+ to REALLY stretch the legs of it.....its 2wd so it stands NO chance in the dirt Vs the 10T......racing or bashing the 10T is superior in every way from parts quality to parts support....as mist467 said Losi/horizon is one of the Biggest if not the biggest distribution chains in RC.

the 3.4 will have MORE then enough power to do the job on both bottom and top....it will not do wheelies unless you lock the center diff or have thicker diff fluid which will adversely effect the handling and beat up on the rear diff....i would Not recommend doing that.

alright ill stick with that for now.

is there an engine i could get down the road that would make it wheelie?

also i would think that if i replace the engine the electric starter would be history.
