Do you mean a DX3.0? If you found a place that sells a DX3R, with DSM2 RX for $99, please send me the link....I need a new radio, and I'll darn sure not pass up that deal!

yes it is cheap! I have one and am having some trouble with it. if your just bashing i would say go for it. the problems i am having is that every now and then i have to re-tune the reciver into the radio- this has happened twice while running around the track. so if racing i would not recommend it but for bashing and having time to re-tune it then go for it... are you binding it right?

I've never had that issue.

I believe there is a newer version now available, which includes a failsafe, so maybe that issue is fixed.
