ive been using my Ofna set for the better part of the year and they are still working great.

the kit i use is the 9 piece one. it has all the allen drivers, plus a philips, flathead, and socket drivers also. and it comes with a handle, so you can use it in the drill or by hand. i love mine: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ilicone-Handle

Monty

Thanks for the input. I have the first one and that is what I am replacing. I am having a problem on 3 of them that little set screw is not keeping the tips for spinning. So they will not turn anything.

Have you tried the second one yourself? I have one of their other sets with the handle but the end is too small for the small electric drill.

hmmmm crazy !!

the only one i have had any trouble with is the 3mm , completely my fault though engine screws on underside of chassis on kyosho w/loctite
btw , those are rolled/shear pins on those tips you musta put a buttload of torque on them

i havent bought the hudy looking set personally but have used a few different peoples tips just to try them out and they were definitely good , cant say that they are any better than my set .

i have had my set for 2 1/2 years , so either i dont wrench my cars enough or the tools are good . i love my hitachi 3dbl

Monty, the Kyosho uses 3mm to hold the engine mount to the chassis? I need some of those, i always strip my 2.5mm.

I use the Hudy tips in my Hitachi, and i love it. I will NEVER go back to strictly hand tools. The only thing is that the bits are a little loose in the chuck, but i've gotten use to it. They can move forward and back some.

3mm for the engine adjustment

the integy tips have a divot to lock them in , you pull out the chuck to release the lock on the hitachi and the bits drop and lock

OK So I got both of them. Monty, I too have had my set along time. And I had no problem for th most part tell recently. Not to much torq because I only use them for light work then use the Hand Held Hex to tighten fully as I do not have a clutch on my eletric screw driver.

You know every once in a while a bad one gets out. But I had mine for a long time so I am sure I got my moneys worth.

I think the problem with the Hudy's is that the lock groove is too big. I'm going to put a wrap of tape on mine and see if they stay tight.
