where they would normally mount to the bulk head and you would have to used a set screw to keep it in place or moving back and forth... it made sense not to use bearings... because if you want to go to different sizes of sway bars what would u do then... and sway bars only vary in thickness by .1mm..

The serpent does indeed use ball bearings for the swaybars. They work awesome. By far the best way of mounting the swaybars and eliminating all slop and any side to side movement. The sway bars are held by a grub screw coupler with the ball bearings so you can easily swap to larger or smaller swaybars without a problem.
