Why not change to a better car ?

To be hones it would be a interesting move and also show what Durango can do in both 1/8 and 1/10

Er... Back on topic?

Has anyone else noticed from the CAD drawings posted on NeO BUGGY a few days ago that the chassis only has one opening (for the flywheel)?

Nice work looks like a modded Losi 2.0 .Also i dont agree with off centre diff and gearboxes more stress on the drive train and excessive wear and the brake system but thats me,more things that can go wrong .keep it basic with basic engineering practises .Team magic went the super tech way and it failed in performance and design.keep it simple i say .Kyosho and mugen haven't gone wrong in all those years in business with the mp and mb series by keeping it convertional and basic.

But good luck to them i take my hat off to them for trying to be different.

Kingstar Taiwan make most cars on the market today HB,saker,Axial, robitronic an much more .

It's hard to keep weight centered without having angled driveshafts and still manage to fit everything in. With the Durango diff system you can't move the pinion like in LOSI. The brake system must be good as Serpent copied it but anyway it's a step forward on many things including maintenance. Also there is a lot of stuff on the car that is not yet visible and clearly separates it from LOSI. Actually the front end is pretty much the only one that's similar but hey you could call it Xray as well. But with current trend it will be trashed as every new brand that is not LOSI or US based.

Sure hope its better than that.
Lots of people say it reminds them of this and that car, sure - it has four wheels, engine, servos, radio tray..... Its pretty much a 1:8 buggy.

does that thing even flex??

Looks all aluminum. How much does it weigh? Looks heavy.

things i like.

the diffs definitely look easier to get to.

the rear brace is closer to the flywheel hole where the chassis usually bends.

There is no hole for you spur which means no more chipped teeth.

the front shock tower looks reinforced from the bulkhead.

looks very durable

things i don't like:
the price probably.

the lack of flexing and the weight leads me to believe it will not handle as well as some other cars.

ultimately i would have to drive it, to see how it handles and jumps.

and although the quality looks very good, that is ALOT of aluminum. The stress has to go somewhere, and that will probably be bent parts.

never heard of this company, so i have no clue about the quality.

From looks though, it gets an A

lot better then the prototype

folding shock boots and direct shaft connection. Wonder where they got that idea?

Lack of flexing? Weight? You gathered all that from that one picture??

For what it's worth, the half-assembled car in that pic is probably still a prototype, since there are some discrepancies between it and the CAD renders from a few days ago, namely the fuel tank in the CAD render looks to be dead center, whereas the pic of that proto still has it off to the left (you can tell by looking at the central screw on the upper front plate) and a few other things, like the front upper arms.
