every one hated the losi truggy body when it came out now all truggies look like el caminos but I can't wait to see the first person with 4 zip ties on his new +4 with the cooling head so exposed I think I will fall out laughing

well the shocks mount in front of the tower not behind so theres no problem

Nonetheless, you'd still likely have to dremel some indentations in the wing to mount the shocks aft; based on the photos, they wouldn't fit otherwise.

Then again, who would want to move them?

They probably only did it to satisfy those that insist exhaust heat will be a problem. From the photos I think it will be fine but if by some chance it is a problem, you can move them.

I've had shocks damaged badly (MBX5 guide washers crushed due to getting packed into a turn) becuse of the conventional mounting position. I've never understood why nobody moved them forward. They're safer there.

It really looks like a very high quality Losi 8ight. Suspension geometry/components looks pretty close to the same. The rest of the layout looks improved.
