Yeah, then I give them some slack.

I think their English is a bit better than my German.

According to their website the brakes are hydraulic. I am not sure how they would be actuated otherwise...but it is really hard to see how it works in those pictures. I wonder if these are going to be sealed or require maintenance? Will be be tuning different oils for the brakes? I supposed so. I have no idea if this is a good thing or not.

to have hydraulic brakes you should have a tank of some sort.... but the brake can be activated with out it... as long as they are cams on the shaft going through the the diff mount it can push against a piston which pushes against the pad... just an observation... but if the website says it ... then so be it... just another part to maintain

The prototype that was first shown had hydraulic brakes but the more recent pics on redRC show a more or less conventional brake arrangement. A bit different in the linkage arrangement but otherwise pretty normal. Of course, there are some parts missing in those pics so who knows what might be hooked up to it later on.

I have built 2 serpents, the s400 and the f180. Neither went together without some small issues. Nothing major but not a good as the Xray, Jammin, Kyoshos and even Hotbodies that I have built.

Ive seen the Serpent run and it looked OK. Billy Easton can make anything fast. He recently won one of our state series with an old Thunder Tiger by 6 laps.

so you know....those two products that didnt go together well.....were built by Kingstar for serpent.....just something to think about

I don't know what that means. I just know it wasn't as nice as I expected. I'm not married to any brand. If car A works car A it is.

Sorry Grimlock, but it is you Americans that have cocked up the English language with your poor spelling, speaking as one who comes from England, your use of the Z instead of an S in many spellings is rather annoying

Suprised at the Germans though, zey normally use ze zed vizzout problemz
