Default 1/8 Buggy Tire Foam Swapping?

Have you guys seen the HARA Scott Hughes video where hara cuts the bead of one side of a tire to replace the foam.

I just did that and im about to re glue.

my question is - so I need to clean all the old rubber off before i reglue or do I leave it on and glue to the rubber

also whats the best tire glue - ive been using lucky seven but i dont have time to order it -

I'm guessing you'll want to glue the tire to the old rubber. Think about carving a pumpkin. When you cut the top off, you can't put it back on right unless it's lined up exactly how you cut it. So the tire should line right back up in the "grooves".

AKA is an awesome tire glue.

AKA glue only comes in 1 style. But medium is a good all around glue if your not in a hurry.

funny, they put it to video so it makes it special or new.

We've been using that "technique" for 20+ years. Back when we figured out that the foam would break down and go south before the tire would wear out.

And "Yes!" AKA glue and glue it right back to itself, rubber to rubber.

Agreed, nothing new. But the "GOING GREEN" thing is.

Thanks guys - I just glued them back up and balanced them. It was surprisingly easy.
