Default P/S resizing and pinching

I was going to send one of my P/S sets away to rayaracing to get pinched.

1. is it worth it. Does it work well?

2. How many gallons can you expect on average out of a resizing?

3. How many times can you pinch it?

Thanx

Like new again
2. How many gallons can you expect on average out of a resizing?
depends on how you run the motor another 5 gallons is easy.

3. How many times can you pinch it?
depending on the engine
2 or 3 times. really depends on the sleeve though.

Thanx

vspec P/S and a ninja P/S.

So it's basically worthless to buy a new P/S if you can repinch your old one.

Do you have to break it in like a new one?

Cool.

yes a mild break in is needed because there will be some pinch again

it wont have to be a full break in bot some tanks on a rich setting and idle one it should be good to go

Guys,

Take a look at Alan Burton and The Speed Shop. I can not tell you whose equipment he is using but I have some engines I use for Practice. I sent him four and the all came back looking great. The fit finish was perfect and there was no tooling marks.

He will get my buisness from here on out!!!

Thanks Alan

Thanks man!

As far as break in, with sleeve's I pinch I try to get the sleeve about like it was at a gallon or so. Break in is not really necessary but I do recommend a couple tanks with settings a couple hours richer. Heating up the motor the first few time is always a plus too. This may not be the case with all guy's that resize so follow there recommendation.

I would rather run a resized sleeve over a new p/s, no break in and it runs just as well. I have pinched motors 3-4 times, (over 12 gallons on that friends speed) a pinch will last as long as it did originally.

I charge $15.00, return shipping in the Us included. Guaranteed satisfaction!

Rex
