It has the same power curve as a JX Ninja, but with more power.
086 Pipe is what works well with the JS.

I cant talk much about the engine in stock form, except to say that i know that it will be a strong running engine, Ed bridges designed the engine from top to bottom. The race prep and the full mod will be ready to race right out of the box. The race prep should be better suited for truggy alittle more hard hitting, the full mod will be smoother from bottom to top that transitions better to buggy.

The engine runs great. I've seen them run from the 1st prototype on. You won't find a better engine for the price. It puts out more power than my EB modded speed.

My Race prepped JS has way more power then my FULLY EB modded JX. The quality and performance for the $$ is second to none.

the jx engine that joe is talking about is the mugen jx motor that ed has worked with. Dont confuse the js with the jx, they are two different engines

no way! full mod js will have more power and get equal to better run times as the stock or race prepped versions.

Default motor

A few questions about the motor, What makes this motor so good. It looks like another Novarossi P5 clone with a 16.26 X 16.8 bore & stroke like the Go GX 5 port. Does any one have a picture of the sleeve and rod? The Novarossi S21P5XLT is $254 and the JS is $284 and over $300 for the full mod. Thanks

Also the connecting rod is 0.5mm longer then Go or Novarossi rod ,so all you GO and NR ppl the JS parts won't fit like some may assume.

So what do you guys suggest a better option for a mbx6t a race prep mod, or the full mod... Would the full mod overpower the car making it harder to handle?? And my next concern is, I live in Greece, if I had to get one, what options would I have with spares?

I honestly believe that the stock out of the box version will be more than enough power. If you have a modded motor now then I would get the full mod.
