No, the Losi is a little more agressive like the mugen.

When you say more agressive do you mean on the edge? What would you consider the 808 to drive like? I was told that it drives alittle like a Losi 8 2.0 but is much more stable and the rear end more planted and all around less twitchy. True?

Well, then it realy doesent behave like a 8ight 2.0, now does it?
They can all be calmed down with the right setup, to a certain degree.
I'm considering both cars as well, I've had MBX6, but it would be fun to try something else. I was very happy with the 6, much more aggressive than the 801X, however I'm running faster laps with my Tamiya - its much more forgiving.

Losi feels more aggressive in the steering where the xray is less i went from a losi to a xray i have gone slower but xray better build and stronger. If you race electric then losi will be better xray does not have as much steering as standard part of me wishes that i still have my losi but tje xray is more consistant over a race i find

oh ok yea the (eight 1.0 buggy is defiely, agggresive on the steering side.)
its not really bad though if you (mess, around with the setup.) (i race 1/8 nitro wont see me driving a 1/8 electric buggy.)

i might get a (xray buggy maybe, next year and see how i would like it) .
to me it sounds like the (xray buggy, handles a little similar to a touring car) and not a buggy.

not be ineventsive if you drive a 1/8 electric by the way.

8secnotch the way you described the X-RAY is exactly what I found when I got mine. Same light weight feel as losi 1.0 but the whole 808 is more stable & settled than the 1.0 I owned & 2.0 I drove, especialy the rear. You can make the 808 rear end loose if you want but thats the opposite of what I bought the car for. As far as steering I dont think I could compare the 2 as all I did with the losi is try & calm down the front & rear & never could so I dont know if the losi actually had more steering than the 808 or if the back just could not be calmed down enough. I do feel the 808 has more steering than my driving style needs but the way its applied does not cause problems for me & is a couple adjustments away from more if I want it. I do feel my 808 has the same steering as my buds well setup mbx6 the way I have it set now.

Its all perception though as everybody drive different, one mans perfect could be another mans spaztik but what you said a few post above is spot on with me.

on my losi eight 1.0 buggy i used the mike thute, setup and the rear end is pretty stable with 3 degree rear toe in. but with the stock setup, for the eight 1.0 buggy it was big time rear end loose lol.

I've been a little bias lately, but the Mugen parts are available everywhere. That's more reason to go with the MBX6!!!
