So basically i am rebuilding it. I found some parts online, but some say .26 force and has a blue head. I found one that is .26 picco. Will theese work in my motor?

It was a motor given to me from a friend and is pretty old. anywhere from 5 to 10 years. Same company, same style.

And it would only cost me about 80$ for a rebuild. And let me tell you, this motor is one bad mofo. It's too much for my buggy so i plan on putting it in my truggy that i will be building.

Opinions please?

Are you sure you can rebuild it for $80.00...? to me that seems awefully low for that engine.... where are you finding the prices for a rebuild ?

well nitro house has the P/S for the .26 force for 38$ and rc plannet has the con rod for 30$ as well. This is for the force, and from what i can tell that is what i have. The old force have the purple head like mine. Am i right max? i know you know

the .26 will have a bit more top end then the .28

but overall the .28 is a working power house, and they are decent engines if you seal them up and keep them on the rich side just a bit.

my picco 26 outlaw had a purple head. Run it with 30% and it makes great power I don't think you would need a 28

Well IMO i would not rebuild a Force 26...they are decent RTR engines, but not worthy of rebuilding, a brand new one can't be worth $100.00..........a Picco however is a much different animal... the Force is a mediocre performer at best, the Picco is a screamer....

Picco and Force are 2 different engine brands...Picco is an Italian made race engine, Force is a Taiwanese built RTR engine....huge difference..... like comparing a Hyundai Accent vs a Chevy Corvette..... If you have a worn out Force 26 its completely worthless....Sorry to say that, not meaning to discourage you or anything, but there is no point in spending money rebuilding a engine you wouldn't want in the first place..... The Picco 26 is called a Picco 26 Outlaw.....A Force 26 is called a Force 26
