Raising ackerman bar

Any one try raising their ackerman bar a few mm to try fixing the ackerman effect on their steering?

Raising or lowering the ackerman bar will affect bump steer not the affect of ackerman.

Can you explain the bump steer? I saw raising it would reduce the Ackerman angle since the outer wheels turnbuckle isnt as angled during compression losing steering on the outer wheel during a turn.
