Default Red or Orange Buggy

I'm trying to decide which color to paint a new lid for my xb8. I'm thinking of either red or orange. I've searched through the picture threads, but couldn't find what i wanted. If you could please post some pics of some simple red/orange bodies that would be great. Thanks

Did you use some type of masking tape to mask off that silver stripe?

I actually use 1/8" pin stripe tape, it seems to be easer to go around corners and sticks very well while painting, i used the window mask that came with the body, then put the pin stripe were i wanted the color change then use masking tape to cover were the orange was, painted the black let dry, (use a heat gun to speed this up) then took off the masking tape, painted the orange, let dry, then took off the pin stripe and painted the silver, let dry, then applied a final coat of black for the undercoating

My vote is for orange too winter is here and you need something that stands out more. Don't have any pics. I'm a lazy painter I use 1 or 2 colors and then cover with custom upgrade wraps. They always look awesome.

I have personally had jim (WED) paint a body for me and it was bada$$-Recently I have been looking into BCG and he has amazing skillz
But I have to admit the wraps are cool also, last a lot longer than you would think. I had a STRR body with a generic upgrade wrap got 10+ gallons now I had reinforcrd the inside with strappoing tape and some shoo goo but it still looked good after a full season.
Plus the wraps are so easy and you can customize them anyway you want-if you have pics they can make it a wrap

I have lids painted by both WED and BCG, they both do amazing work, but I too am going the wrap route. fastlane is at the moment designing a custom wrap for me. They do last allot longer and I am stoked to get it, plus its cool to have all your other gear match your lid

Orange definitely is the color i will choose. I'm not looking to pay someone to paint it, because i would buy a custom wrap instead. So orange and black Jconcepts 808 body with black wing will look killer. Especially once i get my 808 shock towers i won on ebay for $6.50. Yes, that's both front and rear.
