The track is located in Union City, CA: http://www.norcal-hobbies.com/

Some big ROAR race is being held here later this year.

This is my first Losi car ever, and I expect I will be buying more.

I know the Mugen is supposed to be a very nice racer, but it will cost much more if you need the electronics and motor, and I doubt you will get the support Losi is giving. Also I assume parts will be more difficult to get.

I do own one Mugen car from about 10 years ago.

One big advantage of the Mugen (in my eyes) is you can get it as a kit or as a roller. I much prefer building my cars!

Still if I get a 1/8 scale racer I will most likely go with a Losi product due to the support the have shown me in my few weeks of ownership. I am sure it will be equally competitive (or a driver's race) if I ever become a good driver.
Well the Muegan is used but it is complete with radio, starter box, extras, ect ect for about the same price as the Ten-T is new. That is the only reason I am stuck where I am.

Personally I wouldn't buy used unless you know the person selling it. Too many expensive things could be wrong with it.

Default Damaged Parts

Ran the Ten-T this weekend at the track and ended up breaking the steering bell crank. The track hit a spike that was sticking up, but did not hit that hard. I decided to switch out the grease in the diffs for silicone fluid and when I did I found that the bolt that holds on the front shock (both sides) was bent. Not sure about the rears yet. I would suggest checking if you have been jumping the Ten-T. I did have a few hard landings.
