cape fear is in fuquay, nc. it is south of raleigh about 30 miles or so. i have just started running off road some this year after racing oval about 10yrs. the crew at cape fear run a great show. i have been there 3 times and lowest car count has been 70 out of my visits. he had 120 one time i was there. if you are looking for a nice place to run, this is definately it.

hey guys I probably know you both. I am the guy who won the Mugen
MBX6T this fall at Thunder Alley. I also raced at Cape Fear the entire time I was hope. I am trying to get ahold of any of the regulars from either tracks. My work brought me back over to afghanistan, and I cannot seem to get on to Cape Fears forum so I thought I would try over here to get ahold of some of the the guys I raced with at both of the tracks. Both tracks are great and both crews that rum them always put on a great day of racing

hey Shawn, what's up?

Hopefully you're having a quiet Holiday Season! Stay safe so you can come back and race with us. We got 27 loads of dirt hauled in. Army Dave has some serious building to do. He's like a kid at Christmas. Oh wait, we all are

Mahoney, what's up buddy!!! You keeping your head down over there?

Josh was a little light on the dirt count. Actually, we paid for 27 loads....we got close to double that for free from a new bank that they're building across from Wal-Mart in town. Not as dark red as the stuff we got from Garner, but really good base material. They needed a place to dump the material that was being excavated, and we were more than happy to provide it to them!

Check it out on the CF forum, Dave and I put up some more pictures today. It's under the Nitro Off-Road section...the post about the track being down for maintenance. Seriously, you're gonna LOVE the new additions when you get home again. We'll be around 1100 linear feet when it's complete! That should draw some new talent to the track...

I'm looking foward to racing with you in truggy this season. The O'Donnell will be ready to run on the first race with the new layout (Jan 16th.)

Anyway, you be safe over there....we'll be thinking about you.

Stubby.

Man you guys great to hear from you all. I am seriously having withdralls. Right now Im ridding the pine at the job alot of paperwork, but soon be back in the fight. One good thing it gives me time to look up all the toys Im gonna be adding to the Mugen's, muahahahahaha. I almost cried when I saw the track all torn up, but sounds like it is going to be killer when it gets done. I have to create a new account on CF forum because I cannot get logged on even if I attempt to change the password. Keep me in the loop guys good hearing from everyone

Nah, don't do that. I'll send Danny a PM and have him reset your password. I'll put a post up on here once he's responds that it's done.

By the way, the track will be all finished soon....we've got a race on Jan 16th!
