What setup?
Hi there everyone.
I have decided that I will have a bit more of a go at 1/8 buggy racing next season (starts late Feb 2010)
I have a XB8TQ and dont really want to spend the money getting a newer model this year (I suspect I will move to Truggy in 2011).
The local track is I suppose what would be classed as tight and gets very bumpy, there is one large jump (about 70cm high table top).
My problem when I drive is that the car feels very twitchy and nervous.
It feels like it looses traction in the back way to easy.
I have thought about buying wider axle hubs to widen the vehicles footprint, I am wanting the car to be more stable until my driving skills improve a little, as I am forever putting it on its lid.
Would doing this improve the stability?
And what setup and fluid grades should I be using (in shocks and diff).
Any tips and help is appreciated.
I have also asked this same question on the team xray site.

There is also a setup database on the Xray website: http://forum.teamxray.com/xsheets.php
