Underway, I run them in gas buggy & truggy & have no room in reciever box for padding on either. I also do not servo tape them in the box anymore but when I did I had much less problems.

I run them in elec buggy & truggy also where & they are taped bottom down or or on their side. I use a switch on all gas cars & switch on elec cars till the switch fails then its batt plug in for a switch.

I run all my cars very soft on springs & oil & do not hesitate to flat land big jumps(in gas car only) if I can use it to pass the guys that drive more gental for their equipment.

I knowingly abuse the recievers so I dont make too big a deal about it when they fail but it is looking to me like the spec recievers are not the same durability wise as they used to be. If I had to guess I would say Spek recievers are not made at the same place they used to be. IDK & havent heard that as a rumor but it seems a year & a half or 2 ago is when I started having more issues than I used to. Now that I think about it this might coinside with when I got my dx3r but I rotate in my 3pk, react, & lynx 3d & have had it happen to them to.

I hated my M8 after I tried other controlers but & seriously thinking about a M11x if I ever get any free money.

pretty sure the R is faster then the HRS mode on the 3pk....the 4pk on the other hand IS faster then the 3R.

The M11x has us ALL beat as its the newest radio on the block.

They are pretty close.
DX3R
# Faster response time than any other spread spectrum system
# Adjustable frame rate - 5.5ms, 11ms, or 16.5ms
3pk hrs
# System compatible with Futaba 3PK radio (use in HRS mode)
# Drops total system latency from 15ms to just 6ms
Can you really tell .5ms apart?

and the average m11x is around 4ms but can drop down to 1.5 now thats fast!
