how common is this tho tix....VERY uncommon...and the fact your service guys are dicking you around doesn't help.....Did you talk to Mike M about the situation ?

Man I lost 7 servos this year all on throttle and all epa's set and checked. 6 of them were jr and one was their fancy way expensive hvs. Only one was hitec a 7965 it was just bad from the start. I run 7940 & 7950 now and so far 2 race days no issues well see how they hold up. I'm running them unregulated so time will tell. But the proof is on the track.

i have been racing for over a year now and i havent had any servo burn out except the RTR servos from when i started. my son ran an RTR scion servo off an cen RTR buggy and he used it for about 6 months before it finally crapped out. if you set the epa right you shouldnt have an problems. we use the 7955 for steering and my son uses a cheap jr for throttle and i use a hitec 645 for throttle. never had a problem with an servo except the two RTR servos we used for steering and we got about 5 or 6 months of use out of them. i have a friend at the track and he has had the hitec 7955 on his steering since they came out with it and has never had a problem with it what so ever.

2 racers having problems with 7955 servos.......................both run Losi and its the throttle servo dieing.

Hmmmmmm........I'm no detective, but, could it be the classic dreaded Losi throttle servo problem?

Get a carbon tray and shim those servos up high where they belong. No servo can survive a Losi tray twisting it and the chassis smacking it silly.

+1 on that
