Default Tank guard?

Hi I just got a tank guard for a losi 8 It protects the tank if you have bearing failure my question is it has screw holes in it to screw to the tank. but I don`t want to damage the tank with holes in it.My other question is if I glue it I won`t be able to remove it to another tank. What should I use to mount it?

the best and cheap tank guard is to get some steel banding which you can get for free anywhere and glue it to your tanks!!
