I shoe-goo all my new bodies and never had a problem with the paint bubbling.

LOL being somewhat new to this hobby i almost didnt post this thread for feeling like a moron. but i did want to waste a new body, so here it is. This site has helped me a great deal with the hobby.

I hear ya, some people can really make you feel like a degenerate if you post the 'wrong' thing, but don't let that stop you from trying to learn.

I'm not sure about faskoat or other clear coats. My only experience has been from the past where i've used pactra spray bomb. I will be using faskoat this winter, but won't have cracked bodies to repair untill mid summer . I'll let you know then lol!

I use Faskoat on all the bodies I've used, it feels kind of rubbery when you put it on thick, but it's not enough protection. I'm going to try the silicone like Nick said, and save the Goo for other repairs.
