I believe he ran the 6 in the final and at least one qualifier.

He ran the Super Athelete. Then in the 2nd round he ran the xr works. He wanted to run the MBX5 1/2 for the main but just ran the 4 3/4. I believe Jimmy is right. He was there.

So were many other people.

In the end it doesn't matter to me. I have nothing but respect for Ryan. He has done really well for himself. His family must be pretty proud. He gets paid to do something most pay for

I remember Ryan at Freedom Hill in Michigan. Good times. Miss that track.

For the most part, he seems to be taking the same line as everyone else. It's just the angle that he's driving at that sets his style apart. Really cool to watch. It must be differential setup that allows him to skate around like that.

my only guess whould be that he uses 1000 weight diff oil in the rear to get it to do that dont know about the center or the front but it is a tamiya,u know how they are diffrent from others,i know u proberty uses a lot more rar brake and less front , i like them tamiya buggy and truggy there are pretty nice this havnt seen anybody yet with one in my hometown pa.

Ryan generally runs 15/5/10

But it's his car control and use of the brakes that helps with his drift style.
(But things have changed and Ryan is much much smoother. (At least while racing.... LOL)

I think Lutz has a better chance at winning. Really nice guy with great driving skills.

Chris,

After going through my photos It appears that he was running a 6 with 5R parts.

I had it backward....

I remember talking to his Dad at "Post Pre-Worlds Race" at a local track there in NC and he called it a 5.5R.

However, my "money" is on Ryan either way.
This is hands down the perfect thought. If it is a Euro style track Savoya Hands down. I have seen both race in person and where Ryan lacks on the Highbight smooth track Savoya lacks on the rough stuff.

It would be a great event. I wish they would open the Euros like the US Nats is open. It would be a much better race.
