Default Clutch Nut for Nova Plus 4 Limited

I'm trying to put the clutch nut on my new Nova Plus 4 and can't seem to get it threaded onto the crankshaft. I'm using the clutch nut from my LOSI 454 .28. Is there a pitch difference that I don't know about?

I can't believe all the feedback. It's too overwhelming. Please stop posting I figured it out..

The threads on the plus4 crank were coated with a clear hardened product. A couple of wire brush strokes and itwas good to go.

Well good thing I didnt post yesterday. I was gonna tell you to clean out the locktite from your clutch nut because all SG shaft motors have the same clutch nut thread.

Boy would I have looked stupid

Yeah That's what I thought as well but after spending $300.00 and saw Italy on the box and the nut seemed to get tight when threading, I got into a frenzy over here.

Thanks.

If by lockout you mean the (brass ferule), it was too long so i put on an extra that I had for my 8T2.0. Everything is fine now. Running othe 4th tank.

must use the losi collet with the losi flywheel
the other collet will work for most standard 3 shoe clutches

use an adjustable wrench on the outside of the clutch where the clutch pins thread into to keep flywheel still while tightening .

Yeah I've got a decent set of Tamiya Channel locks with nylon protection. Thanks for taking my call today. It was nice getting some insight from you on the Nova motor.
