Questions?? idling issues!

Hi i have a SH.21 engine and i have an idling problem. It is never consistant. i can have it tuned sweet if i keep the revs going a bit but then i can go for a run it run good come back. take off again it it will just hit high revs and wont go down for a long time and it just wont stay at idle.

What could be the problem all input needed

Cheers

Sounds like you could be too lean on the LSN and too high on the HSN. I used to make this mistake often and the symptoms you describe fit that perfectly. If you can, find your local nitro expert and have them tune it for you and watch what they do/how they fix it. I'm still learning to tune consistently myself so having local experts to rely on when I'm chasing a tune is invaluable. I owe Canyon Thompson much beer over this past summer while I was learning the nitro ropes

It's also possible you have an air leak in the tank that only hits once the fuel is below a certain level.

Deffinately sounds like you are too lean on the bottom.

could be too rich on the bottom too, over compensated with a big gap. once it gets up to temps it won't come down for a bit. also check for an air leak.
