Default What are things to know before buying used nitro truck

Im thinking about buying a used nitro T-maxx. What are some things I should ask the ebay seller before buying it? I have a 2.5R nitro Rustler so it's not my first.

Just realize that you might end up putting as much money in it as you would if you bought a new one... Of course, fixing one up can be the best part... Your choice...

Ask him if the engine actually still starts and stays running for a full tank. Pretty much expect some work when u get it, your buying something someone bashed so shocks mite leak hell it mite not have oil in 1 or 2 of them. I love truggys there much easier to work on, handle better and have a very large engine variety n there all made for performance so I would look into your budget and see if u can afford a used kit I see alot of used losi's and strrs selling for super cheap. If your into the monster trucks that's cool there awsome to go big with I'm just saying truggy can do it all n r durable as hell.
