i would stick with nitro intil theres a class for them which i dont see intil 2011 or 2012 and i think it also depends on what track u go to, like hobby hut there was 1 electric truggy and 1 electric buggy so they pretty much had to run with the nitros if u ask me nitro is easy to drive cause it has some lag in the allection and it feels like u are in more control than a fast brushless buggy
what dont u like about nitro u can make them pretty quick off the line with diffrent clutch springs setups,i run a nova .21 bf 3 port thats $150 and it rocks when its tune right and it can run with the more expesive engines
and i drove a modded one on a truggy and its wicked on them

Nitros are a lot of fun, but they do take a fair bit of maintenance. And tuning them can also be a bit daunting when you're new to it.

Electric on the other hand has way faster acceleration, no tuning, and less maintenance.

It all depends on what you want out of it. If you just want to "plug and play", then go for the electric option. If you're not scared of tuning and maintaining a nitro, then go for it. Either option is sweet!
