I'm an AE guy but since you already have a new Losi you ought to stick with it. Some of the 1.0 parts are actually more durable than the 2.0. I'd take the best of both and combine them and go wear it out. Then you should upgrade to a RC8B

Token, Losi and AE are great products that stand up by there own without putting another brand down. Sorry if I came across wrong.

For those folks who feel left out. There are many other brands that can be put in the above statement.

Ya if you want to always be running to the hobby store on a broken parts hunt. I would rather run to the hobby store and blow my money on some over priced completely un necessary item like hudy towels or that new hudy stopwatch. Just my 2 cents. And I dont think he asked about any HB's unless my eyes are seeing things again. hahaha (ohh man its like magic how that shrunk...)

Default No way

I rock the losi 2.0 I am a total nube and race every week for the last few months this car is well built and will do you very well just convert the 1.0 radio tray to the 2.0 or stiffen up the 1.0 change the diff oils and shock oils and run it till you brake it which will be a long while, I did blow 2 sevos but once I put in a few high end Hitechs and adjusted my end points (which you should check prior to every race) I have been solid for the last 3 months and 4 gallons of nitro the d8 is a nice ride and cheap the ass is also great you can't go wrong with any of these but for the losi has great support lots of shops carry hop ups and parts and most people in my area love the losi if you run it and hate it sell it and try another thats the only true way to see your true brand calling

This has turned into a "Run what i run" thread. The guy has a brand new 1.0 8ight, but asked about the AE, yet people on this forum always state they should run something completely different then what they asked about.
