Loaded question.

Need to ask yourself...where and on what types of surfaces am I going to run my truck most of the time.

Is it for bashing/play? Or purely racing?

Harder compounds last longer, but don't hook up as well. Softer compounds work better on soft dirt and racetracks, but shred easily on rocks and other all-terrain surfaces.

JConcepts, Proline and Panther all offer 1/10 2.2" Stadium truck tires for various surfaces.

JConcepts Goosebumps work well all around.

Proline also has several race treads and other All-terrain type tires that work well. M2 compound is a nice, durable compromise for most terrains. M3 only if you're racing.
