Are you planning to be at the Lone Star? If so, bring them... I'll take a look.

You mentioned adding memory. That's always good, up to a point. (XP only sees 3gb of RAM for example...) In some cases you have to REMOVE the old memory and replace it (if both slots are filled)

Also, in particular one of your laptops is an older one... replacement might be in order- but then again, you don't really do anything that requires a lot of "horsepower." What you REALLY need to do is clean up and defrag them. I'd be happy to help, with either instructions, or, as I mentioned, if you are going to be there this weekend I'll just do it for you.

I think your performance issues currently are more related to "clutter" than they are to a limitation of the hardware. Not positive, I didn't spend that much time messing with them at the finals... just got the network link up and left it alone. However, given the performance I saw, in all likelyhood that's all it is.

Let me know.

Thinking about coming but not sure just yet. Yea I pretty much decided it's time to unload some stuff just trying to find something I cna setup on my network so I can access it from all computers. I have to get another remote hard drive my current 80gb one is full.
I upgraded memory on both but the Dell still only shows 9% free space not enough to defrag.

So far no one has mentioned it. Apparently someone goofed when putting it on rcsignup. Call the shop when they open and signup. 972-271-4844

Interestingly enough, I put on that damn Viking hat in OKC and my truck ran away during warmup. That hat is badddd luck!

That seems be be what left me out of the top five (DOMIT and I figured it out).

The only question I had coming off the driver's stand in OKC was were any of the marshals "men". I've never seen so many grown man run so fast from an out of control MBX-6T.

Yea well, they were getting out of the way, they thought you were still in control. (It's kinda hard to tell the differance)

Just went and checked out the track, not much done except in front of the announcers both a little of camber section then Ron replaced the small tire in the wagon wheel section with a full size tire so you really have to turn thru that section..some like it some don't..but no major changes..They expect around 70-80 entries for this weekend. hope it warms up a little and stop raining!!!!

sign up on rcsignup has closed but we are taking signups here at the shop until saturday morning. So if you have not signed up yet you still have time.
Looking to have a pretty good turn out. See everyone this weekend

Thanks

It looked like a good turnout just for a little practice even in the cold...I did not ask for any numbers but I will today. It sure is cold out 26deg in the DFW area!!
