Default How to know what to buy??

I just got a Losi 8ight 2.0 and am ready to buy a another motor, manifold, pipe. I am thinking about the Novarossi P5XLT. How do you which manifold and pipe to buy? They have long and short manifolds, which one would I need??

i see most people use a dynomite 86 pipe dont know what header they use though,if u run on a larger track than a short pipe would be good for top end and the long for short tracks. i have a nova .21bf 3 port and i just run the dynomite 86 pipe with the stock header that comes with it which looks like a long header which seems to work good on a large track

Default Great engine...

The p5 is a great engine for buggy and truggy. It's got loads of torque and is easy to tune. I like the mid 9853 pipe with the short round header, but most use the 086 with the short header. It provides more rpm and smooths out the punch off the line.
